Financial Relief Grants

Learn more about your impact

Food and housing insecurity. Unanticipated medical expenses. Family emergencies. Fires. Broken-down cars. Rising rent. Theft. Sudden financial stress makes everything else harder.

The investment our students make in themselves is significant, and any unexpected expense can impede their success as a student. In the event of any emergency or financial stress, Thunderbird recognizes that a fundamental way it can support its students is by providing financial relief grants.

Your gift provides critical financial assistance to Thunderbird students when they don’t have anywhere else to turn to in times of crisis. Your investment and support can provide need-based resources that will position them to succeed in graduate life. By supporting this grant, you provide critical assistance to students who face unforeseen circumstances, such as accidents, illness, death of a family member, or need for temporary housing.

Your generosity provides emergency financial support to a future-ready leader facing an unforeseen hardship. A donation from you will help them remain on track to persevere and succeed.

They are very considerate of the challenges that we are facing, so they give us advice and make sure that we’re making the right choices.

  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate, thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.
